Being an intern definitely has it perks, and for a young writer nothing could be better than the opportunity to have an all-access pass to some of the biggest Toronto Fashion Week shows. Armed with my little blue notebook and fully charged Blackberry, I headed to the shows ready to see what our Canadian designers had conjured up for Fall/Winter 2011. Between the Tweeting and star-spotting, and backstage lessons in hair and beauty, I found some time to focus on the hard work and inspiration that came to life in the collections of our country’s talent.
